Registration Information


What does my registration include?

Your registration includes:

  •  Conference materials (totes, ID Badge, etc.)
  • All concurrent session and mini workshops
  • General keynote sessions
  • Exhibit Hall Admittance
  • Coffee breaks
  • Opening reception
  • Thursday Awards Lunch (limited space)
  • Note: Does not include Pre-conference Workshops with designated fees

If I have not registered for the conference before pre-registration ends, can I still attend the conference?

After the pre-registration deadline, you can register on-site, by coming to the on-site registration counters located in the TD Convention Center.

Can I register for workshops only and not attend the conference?

You must register for the conference to attend the workshops. You may attend the State Agency Session on Friday without registering for the conference. Click here to register.

Can I bring my spouse/guest to the conference?

There are no spouse/guest passes available for the conference. Spouses and guests can purchase an Exhibit Only pass to gain access to the Exhibit Hall during show hours.

Can I bring my child to a session?

Due to professional courtesy and liability issues, children under 18 are not allowed to attend Edtech. Permission for student presenters/co-presenters must be requested and approved prior to the conference.

How do I register to be a session host?

If you are interested in acting as a session host during the conference, indicate your interest during the online registration process or by checking the box on the printed registration form. You will be contacted by EdTech conference staff.

How do I know if I am registered for lunches or special sessions?

If you registered online, your registration receipt will indicate all events that were added to your record during registration. You will also receive an email confirmation automatically after you complete your registration. If you register by fax or mail, you will receive an emailed confirmation once your registration has been processed. If the event is not listed on your confirmation, you are not registered for that event. If you do not receive confirmation of your registration or have questions about your registration, please email registration@tmcshows.com.

Payment Information


What forms of payment are accepted for conference registration?

South Carolina EdTech accepts Visa, Mastercard, checks, money orders, and purchase orders. Cash payments are also accepted during on-site registration. Credit cards are accepted online only.

To whom do I make my check or money order payable?

Please make checks payable to SCAET/EdTech. Please contact us if you are in need of a completed W-9 form.

Will I receive an invoice for my conference registration?

Invoices will be emailed to all billing organizations specified by attendees who register with a purchase order. Attendees who register online and select the check payment option should mail their check with a copy of their online receipt page.

Changes, Substitutions, and Cancellation Information


How do I cancel and request a refund for a registration?

Requests for refunds/cancellations must be made in writing to Registration Management, prior to October 13, 2018. All cancellation requests will be subject to a $10 administrative fee.

If I have to cancel my registration, can someone else attend in my place?

Yes, you may substitute a registration by contacting us prior to the event or by bringing the name badge of the attendee who will not attend to the onsite registration counter during the conference.

Confirmation and Name Badge Information


Will I receive additional information about the conference by mail if I register online?

No. Name badges and program materials will be available at the conference registration counter located in the TD Convention Center during conference registration hours.

What should I do if I haven’t received my name badge or tickets by mail?

Name badges will not be mailed. They will be available at the “Pre-registered Attendees” counter, when you arrive at the conference. Main presenters will check-in at the “Presenter/VIP” counter.

Onsite Conference Information


Where is the TD Convention Center?

The TD Convention Center is located at 1 Exposition Dr, Greenville, SC. For convention center location information, please visit the TD Convention Center website. Parking is available in the TD Convention Center parking lot at no charge to attendees. Adjacent lots at local shopping center and businesses are not for attendee parking. Please park in the clearly marked TD Convention Center parking lots.

Where should I go when I arrive at the conference?

Conference registration will be located on the second level of the TD Convention Center.

What is the dress code for the conference?

Business/casual attire and walking shoes are highly recommended.

Where can I learn more about conference sessions?

Concurrent session and workshop listings will be posted on the South Carolina EdTech Session webpage as they become available.

Is there internet access available during the conference?

A CyberCenter will be available in the Exhibit Hall. Stations will be provided where you can check email and explore the internet. For registered attendees, there is also free wireless internet available in the convention center.

eTracker Attendee Professional Development Tracking Service

If you would like to take advantage of this professional development tracking service, have your name badge scanned after each presentation session. An electronic transcript will be made available to you on the EdTech website approximately one month after the conference. You can use this conference transcript to give your organization’s human resources or professional development coordinator for possible professional development credits. Note –  your valid email address must be included on your registration form to use this service. If you wish to update your personal information, please do so at the registration desk.
